A simple and delicious artisan cheese fondue recipe for sharing.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Gruyère cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Emmental cheese, shredded
  • 1 clove garlic, halved
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon kirsch (cherry brandy)
  • Fresh bread cubes for dipping

Instructions

  1. Rub the inside of a fondue pot with garlic.
  2. In a bowl, mix the cheeses with cornstarch.
  3. Heat the wine and lemon juice in the pot until simmering.
  4. Add the cheese mixture gradually, stirring until melted and smooth.
  5. Stir in kirsch and serve with bread cubes.
