A quick and easy beef and broccoli stir fry with tender beef and crisp vegetables in a savory sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger, grated

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix sliced beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, and sugar. Let marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan over high heat. Add beef and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add garlic and ginger. Stir for 30 seconds.
  4. Add broccoli and beef broth. Cover and cook for 3 minutes.
  5. Return beef to the pan. Add oyster sauce and stir until well combined and heated through.

Notes

  • Slice beef thinly against the grain for tenderness.
  • Use fresh broccoli for best texture.
  • Adjust soy sauce to taste if needed.
