- 2 cups chopped cabbage
- 2 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch ginger, grated
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 2 tbsp oil
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Let them sizzle.
- Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add minced garlic and grated ginger. Cook for 1 minute.
- Add chopped tomatoes and cook until soft.
- Stir in turmeric, coriander, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
- Add diced potatoes and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add chopped cabbage and mix. Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes until vegetables are tender.
- Sprinkle garam masala and garnish with fresh cilantro.
- Serve hot with rice or roti.
