- 2 carrots, sliced
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 6 cups vegetable broth
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried thyme
