Instructions

  1. Wash the oranges thoroughly.
  2. Peel the oranges and cut the peels into strips.
  3. Boil the orange peels in water for 10 minutes, then drain.
  4. In a pot, combine sugar and water, bringing it to a boil.
  5. Add the orange peels to the sugar syrup and simmer for 45 minutes.
  6. Remove the peels and let them dry on a rack for 24 hours.
  7. Optionally, roll the dried peels in sugar for extra sweetness.
