- 3 large oranges
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- Wash the oranges thoroughly.
- Peel the oranges and cut the peel into strips.
- Boil the orange peels in water for 10 minutes.
- Drain the peels and repeat boiling process twice more.
- In a saucepan, combine sugar and 1 cup of water; heat until sugar dissolves.
- Add the peels to the sugar syrup and simmer for 45 minutes.
- Remove peels and place them on parchment paper to cool.
- Once cool, roll the peels in sugar to coat.
