  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Wash the oranges thoroughly.
  2. Peel the oranges, keeping the peels in large strips.
  3. Remove the white pith from the peels.
  4. In a pot, combine sugar and water over medium heat.
  5. Add the peels to the pot and simmer for about 45 minutes.
  6. Remove the peels and let them cool on a wire rack.
  7. Once cool, toss the peels in sugar for coating.
