Instructions

  1. Wash and slice the oranges into quarters.
  2. Remove the flesh and pith from the orange peels.
  3. Boil the peels in water for 10 minutes, then drain.
  4. In a pot, combine sugar and water, bringing it to a boil.
  5. Add the peels to the sugar syrup and simmer for 1 hour.
  6. Remove the peels and let them cool on a wire rack.
  7. Once dry, coat the peels in sugar.
