Instructions

  1. Wash the oranges thoroughly.
  2. Peel the oranges, making sure to remove as much of the white pith as possible.
  3. Cut the peels into strips.
  4. In a pot, combine sugar and water. Bring to a boil.
  5. Add the orange peels to the pot. Simmer for about 1 hour.
  6. Remove the peels and let them cool on a wire rack.
  7. Once cooled, roll the peels in sugar to coat.
  8. Store in an airtight container.
