  • 12 large white mushrooms, stems removed
  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook ground beef until browned.
  3. Add garlic, salt, and pepper. Stir and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Remove from heat. Mix in breadcrumbs and half the cheese.
  5. Fill each mushroom cap with the beef mixture.
  6. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until cheese melts and mushrooms soften.
  8. Serve warm.
