- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla.
- Gradually mix in dry ingredients until combined.
- Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on baking sheets. Make an indentation in each.
- Bake for 10 minutes. Re-press indentations and bake for 2 more minutes.
- Heat cream until simmering. Pour over chocolate chips and stir until smooth.
- Fill cookie indentations with ganache. Let cool before serving.
