- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg yolk
- 1/4 cup cold water
- 8 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, and salt.
- Add butter and egg yolk; mix until crumbly.
- Stir in cold water until dough forms.
- Press dough into a tart pan and prick with a fork.
- Bake for 15 minutes, then let cool.
- In a saucepan, heat cream over medium heat until simmering.
- Pour hot cream over chocolate; let sit for 5 minutes.
- Stir until smooth, then add vanilla.
- Pour ganache into cooled crust and refrigerate for 2 hours.
