- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 can (14 oz) cranberry sauce
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place the meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
- In a saucepan, combine cranberry sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat until smooth.
- Add the baked meatballs to the sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- You can use ground turkey instead of beef.
- For a spicier version, add 1/2 tsp of chili flakes.
