Cream cheese stuffed peppers are a simple and delicious appetizer or snack. They combine creamy cheese with fresh peppers for a flavorful bite.

Ingredients

  • 4 large bell peppers (any color)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the peppers in half lengthwise and remove seeds and membranes.
  3. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and parsley.
  4. Spoon the cream cheese mixture into each pepper half.
  5. Place peppers on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until the peppers soften and the filling is slightly golden.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Use room temperature cream cheese for easier mixing.
  • Adjust seasonings to your taste.
  • For a spicy version, add diced jalapeños to the filling.
