  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 8 lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  2. Add the onion and garlic, cooking until softened.
  3. Stir in the oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour in the crushed tomatoes and chicken broth. Bring to a boil.
  5. Add the broken lasagna noodles and cook until tender.
  6. Reduce heat and stir in the heavy cream, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
  7. Simmer for 5 minutes until cheese melts.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil.
