1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup diced ham
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon chopped chives (optional)

Spread the croissant cubes evenly in the prepared baking dish.
In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
Pour the egg mixture over the croissants, making sure they’re fully coated.
Sprinkle the diced ham and shredded cheese on top.
Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
Garnish with chopped chives if desired. Serve warm.
Notes
You can substitute ham with cooked bacon or sausage.
For a vegetarian version, skip the meat and add sautéed vegetables like bell peppers or spinach.
Let the casserole sit for 5 minutes before serving for easier slicing.
