- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small cabbage, chopped
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add onion, garlic, carrots, and celery. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Stir in cabbage, diced tomatoes, beef broth, paprika, and thyme.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Add cooked rice and simmer for another 10 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
