A simple and delicious cabbage burger bake that’s crispy on the outside and flavorful on the inside.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium head of cabbage, chopped
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
  4. Add ground beef, cook until browned.
  5. In a large bowl, combine cabbage, beef mixture, cheese, breadcrumbs, and eggs.
  6. Season with salt and pepper, mix well.
  7. Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Serve with a side salad.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
