A sweet and spicy Korean-inspired chicken dish made with gochujang and honey.

Ingredients

  • 500g boneless chicken thighs
  • 3 tbsp gochujang paste
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix gochujang, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger.
  2. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and coat with the sauce.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  4. Add chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes per side until fully cooked.
  5. Drizzle with sesame oil and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
  6. Serve hot with rice or vegetables.

Notes

  • Adjust gochujang for more or less spice.
  • Marinate chicken for 30 minutes for deeper flavor.
  • Use a non-stick pan to prevent sticking.
