Ingredients

  • 150g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 100g flour
  • 50g butter
  • 300ml heavy cream
  • 1 sheet gold leaf

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix hazelnut paste with sugar and eggs until smooth.
  3. Fold in flour and melted butter.
  4. Pour batter into cake pan and bake for 25 minutes.
  5. Whip heavy cream to stiff peaks.
  6. Assemble cake with hazelnut mousse layers.
  7. Decorate with gold leaf before serving.
