A healthier version of classic chocolate chip cookies.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, oats, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine melted coconut oil, brown sugar, honey, and vanilla.
  4. Blend the wet and dry ingredients together.
  5. Fold in the dark chocolate chips.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool before serving.

  • Store cookies in an airtight container.
  • Use sugar-free chocolate chips for a lower sugar option.
