Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (8-10 lb) fully cooked bone-in ham
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Place the ham on a rack in a roasting pan.
  2. Score the ham diagonally in a diamond pattern, about 1/4 inch deep.
  3. In a bowl, mix brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, cloves, and cinnamon to make the glaze.
  4. Brush half of the glaze over the ham, covering it evenly.
  5. Bake uncovered for 1 hour, then brush the remaining glaze over the ham.
  6. Continue baking for another 30-45 minutes, basting occasionally, until the ham is golden brown and heated through.
  7. Let the ham rest for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Leftover ham can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
  • For a deeper flavor, marinate the ham overnight with the glaze.
  • Adjust the sweetness by reducing or increasing the honey.
