A spicy and flavorful Korean sesame oil chili sauce perfect for dipping or dressing.

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp gochugaru (Korean chili flakes)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey or sugar
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Heat sesame oil in a small pan over low heat.
  2. Add gochugaru and stir for 30 seconds to infuse the oil.
  3. Remove from heat and mix in soy sauce, honey, garlic, and rice vinegar.
  4. Stir in sesame seeds.
  5. Let cool before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust spice level by adding more or less gochugaru.
