Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Boil potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes.
  2. Drain potatoes and return to the pot.
  3. Add milk and butter, then mash until smooth.
  4. Stir in cheese, bacon, green onions, salt, and pepper.
  5. Serve warm.
