- 1/2 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
- 4 cups beef broth

- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups chopped zucchini (lasagna noodle substitute)
