Instructions

  1. Heat milk in a saucepan over medium heat until warm.
  2. Whisk in cacao powder, sugar, and cinnamon stick.
  3. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove from heat and add vanilla extract and chili powder (if using).
  5. Strain to remove cinnamon stick and serve hot.
