A refreshing and tangy Meyer lemon lemonade recipe that’s perfect for hot summer days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 Meyer lemons, juiced (about 1 cup)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes
  • Meyer lemon slices for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Juice the Meyer lemons until you have about 1 cup of juice.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine sugar and 1 cup of water. Heat over medium heat until the sugar dissolves completely, creating a simple syrup.
  3. Let the simple syrup cool for 5 minutes.
  4. In a pitcher, combine the Meyer lemon juice, simple syrup, and remaining 3 cups of cold water. Stir well.
  5. Add ice cubes and garnish with Meyer lemon slices if desired.
  6. Serve chilled and enjoy.

Notes

  • Adjust sugar to taste if you prefer a sweeter or tarter lemonade.
  • For a fizzy version, replace 1 cup of water with sparkling water.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
