A fragrant Middle Eastern dessert combining rosewater and pistachios for a sweet, floral treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pistachios, shelled and finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup rosewater
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1 tbsp butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Toast the pistachios in a dry pan for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  2. Mix sugar, rosewater, and heavy cream in a bowl until smooth.
  3. Add honey and cardamom powder, stirring well.
  4. Fold in the toasted pistachios.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased dish and refrigerate for 4 hours.
  6. Cut into squares and serve chilled.
