Mille Feuille is a classic French dessert made of layers of puff pastry and cream.

Ingredients

  • 1 package puff pastry sheets
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup pastry cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into rectangles.
  3. Bake the pastry for 15 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Allow it to cool completely.
  5. Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla.
  6. Layer the pastry with whipped cream and pastry cream.
  7. Finish with a top layer of pastry and a dusting of powdered sugar.
