  • 2/3 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 45 tbsp ice water
  • 2 medium apples, peeled and diced
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix flour and salt, then cut in butter until crumbly.
  3. Add ice water, 1 tbsp at a time, until dough forms.
  4. Roll out dough and cut into circles to fit muffin tin.
  5. Toss apples with sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla.
  6. Spoon apple mixture into dough-lined muffin cups.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
