Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease 4 ramekins.
  2. Melt chocolate and butter in a double boiler. Let cool slightly.
  3. Whisk eggs, yolks, sugar, and vanilla until pale and thick.
  4. Fold melted chocolate into egg mixture.
  5. Sift flour and salt into the batter, then fold gently.
  6. Divide batter among ramekins. Bake for 12-14 minutes.
  7. Serve immediately.
