  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 pinch saffron threads
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 small shallot, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Clean the morel mushrooms thoroughly and slice them into halves.
  2. Melt butter in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Add shallot and garlic, sauté until translucent.
  4. Add morel mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and saffron, simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Use dried morels if fresh ones are unavailable; rehydrate them in warm water first.
  • Adjust cream thickness by simmering longer for a richer consistency.
