- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/4 cup maple syrup or sugar free sweetener
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- In a bowl, mix almond flour and cocoa powder.
- Add applesauce, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
- Stir until you form a sticky mixture.
- Add nuts if using and combine well.
- Press the mixture into a lined baking dish.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Cut into squares and serve.
