- 3 large oranges
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup water
- Wash the oranges thoroughly.
- Peel the oranges and cut the peel into strips.
- Blanch the peels in boiling water for 5 minutes, then drain.

- Add the orange peels to the syrup and simmer for 45 minutes.
- Remove the peels and let them dry on a wire rack.
