Ingredients

  • 3 large oranges
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Wash the oranges thoroughly.
  2. Peel the oranges and cut the peel into strips.
  3. Blanch the peels in boiling water for 5 minutes, then drain.
  4. In a saucepan, combine sugar and water, and bring to a simmer.
  5. Add the orange peels to the syrup and simmer for 45 minutes.
  6. Remove the peels and let them dry on a wire rack.
  7. Once dry, toss in sugar to coat.
