- 2 cups of shredded Gruyère cheese
- 1 cup of shredded Emmental cheese
- 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
- 1 clove of garlic, halved
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon of nutmeg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Crusty bread, cut into cubes for dipping
