A simple and delicious one pot cheese fondue recipe perfect for sharing.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of dry white wine
  • 2 cups of shredded Gruyère cheese
  • 1 cup of shredded Emmental cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
  • 1 clove of garlic, halved
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Crusty bread, cut into cubes for dipping

Instructions

  1. Rub the inside of a pot with the garlic clove.
  2. Pour the wine into the pot and heat over medium heat.
  3. In a bowl, toss the cheeses with cornstarch.
  4. Gradually add the cheese mixture to the pot, stirring constantly.
  5. Once melted, add lemon juice, nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
  6. Keep warm and serve with bread cubes for dipping.
