- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 8 lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
- 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley for garnish
- Brown the ground beef in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add the onion and garlic, cooking until softened.
- Stir in the crushed tomatoes, chicken broth, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add the broken lasagna noodles and cook until tender, about 10-12 minutes.
