A protein-packed twist on classic French toast bake, perfect for a healthy breakfast or brunch.

Ingredients

  • 6 slices whole wheat bread
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 scoops vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp butter (for greasing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
  2. Grease baking dish with butter
  3. Cut bread into cubes and place in dish
  4. Whisk eggs, milk, protein powder, cinnamon, honey, and vanilla in bowl
  5. Pour mixture over bread cubes
  6. Press bread down to soak up liquid
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden
  8. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving
