  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch cake pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix ricotta, sugar, eggs, oil, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Alternately add dry ingredients and milk to the ricotta mixture, stirring until combined.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Let cool before serving.
