A romantic surf and turf dinner perfect for Valentine’s Day. Combines tender steak and succulent seafood for a special meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 (8 oz) filet mignon steaks
  • 2 lobster tails
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or skillet to medium-high heat.
  2. Season the steaks with salt and pepper.
  3. Grill or sear the steaks for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare.
  4. While the steaks cook, melt butter in a small saucepan and add minced garlic.
  5. Brush lobster tails with garlic butter and grill for 5-6 minutes until opaque.
  6. Plate the steaks and lobster tails, drizzle with remaining butter, and garnish with lemon wedges and parsley.
