- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp saffron threads, soaked in 1 tbsp warm water
- 1/4 cup crushed pistachios
- 1/4 tsp cream of tartar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Preheat oven to 225°F (110°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a clean bowl, beat egg whites and cream of tartar until soft peaks form.
- Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff peaks form.
- Fold in saffron water and vanilla extract.
