A classic shrimp scampi recipe with garlic, butter, and lemon.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, cook for 1 minute.
  3. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  4. Pour in white wine and lemon juice, simmer for 2 minutes.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Sprinkle with parsley before serving.
