  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan and sear the brisket on both sides.
  2. Place sliced onions and garlic in the slow cooker.
  3. Add the seared brisket on top.
  4. Mix beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  5. Pour the mixture over the brisket.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until tender.
  7. Slice and serve with the cooking juices.
