- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup beef broth
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
- Drain excess fat and transfer beef to the slow cooker.
- Add kidney beans, black beans, diced tomatoes, onion, garlic, chili powder, cumin, salt, black pepper, and beef broth.
- Stir to combine all ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Serve hot, garnished with your choice of toppings.
