- 1 pound dried navy beans
- 1 pound cooked ham, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 6 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 bay leaf
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Rinse and sort the beans.
- Place beans, ham, onion, carrots, celery, and garlic in the slow cooker.
- Add chicken broth, thyme, bay leaf, salt, and pepper.
