Ingredients

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 carrots, sliced
  • 4 potatoes, diced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the roast with salt and pepper, then sear it in the skillet until browned on all sides.
  3. Place the roast in the slow cooker.
  4. Add the onions, carrots, and potatoes around the roast.
