- 1 medium head of cabbage, chopped
- 6 slices of bacon, chopped
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving the grease in the pan.
- Add diced onion to the bacon grease and sauté until softened, about 3 minutes.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add chopped cabbage, black pepper, salt, and red pepper flakes. Stir well to coat.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cabbage is tender.

- Stir in the reserved crispy bacon before serving.
