- 500g boneless chicken thighs
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1 large onion, diced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 1 can (400g) tomato sauce
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
- Marinate chicken with yogurt, lemon juice, garam masala, turmeric, chili powder, and cumin for at least 1 hour.
- Melt butter in a pan over medium heat. Cook onions until soft.
- Add garlic and ginger, cook for 1 minute.
- Add marinated chicken and cook until browned.
- Pour in tomato sauce and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Season with salt and garnish with cilantro.
Notes
- For extra richness, add more butter.
