  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries, diced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, almond flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla and almond extracts.
  4. Alternately add the flour mixture and milk to the butter mixture, starting and ending with the flour mixture.
  5. Gently fold in diced strawberries.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
