- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup strawberry jam
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Powdered sugar for dusting
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix butter, sugar, flour, and salt until crumbly.
- Press 2/3 of the mixture into a greased 9×9 inch pan.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- Spread strawberry jam over the baked crust.
- Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture on top.
- Bake for another 20 minutes.
- Cool completely before cutting into bars.
