  • 1 cup grated Emmental cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon kirsch (cherry brandy)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Bread cubes for dipping

Instructions

  1. In a pot, combine wine and lemon juice. Heat until warm.
  2. Add garlic and slowly stir in the cheeses.
  3. Mix cornstarch with kirsch and add to the cheese mixture.
  4. Stir continuously until melted and smooth.
